Hello Sunshine

Hello Everyone, and thanks for passing by. The card for today is made almost completely with Distress Crayons and it was a big challenge for me. Basically I used six colors, mixing them with a baby wipe in Canson's Mix Media Paper: 

• Spiced Marmalade
• Frayed Burlap
• Mustard Seed
• Vintage Photo (basically I framed all the front of the card)
• Picked Raspberry
• Spun Sugar

Afterwards, I painted some white cardstock with Picked Raspberry and then die cut the flowers and punched the butterflies.

To finish it, I stamped the sentiment from a Stamp Set from Concord and 9th, in some Distress Oxide "Vintage Photo", and then stamped again the "Sunshine" with some Gold Pigment Ink.

When I sticked the front to the cardbase, I noticed that the back of the card and the frame of the front were the same shade, so I colored the part of the cardbase that was showing with some white Distress Crayon.

Hola a todos, y gracias por la visita al blog. La tarjeta de hoy está hecha casi completamente con Distress Crayons, y fue un gran desafío para mi. Basicamente utilicé seis colores, mezclandolos con una toallita de bebé, y como base usé un panel de papel Canson Mix Media.

Los colores son:

• Spiced Marmalade
• Frayed Burlap
• Mustard Seed
• Vintage Photo (solo lo usé en el marco del panel)
• Picked Raspberry
• Spun Sugar

Después utilicé la misma técnica pero pintando de Picked Raspberry un papel blanco, del cual troquelé las flores y las mariposas.

Para terminar, sellé la frase de un set de sellos de Concord and 9th, con tinta Distress Oxide color Vintage Photo, y para realzar el "Sunshine" use un poco de tinta de pigmento dorada.

Cuando adherí el panel frontal a la tarjeta, me di cuenta que se perdía el marco del frente con el fondo de la misma, así que le pasé al borde que se veía de la tarjeta un poco de Crayón Distress Crayon en color blanco.
